Type of Work: Removed two layers of shingles; removed rotted wood from fascia; replaced visible areas with old historically correct wood from elsewhere on the roof; installed new wood where it wouldn't show; installed new felt and shingles, new vent pipe collars and flashing around chimney. Worked quickly. Cleaned up beautifully.
Testimonial: Excellent work. They were prompt about taking phone calls and the estimator explained the work thoroughly ahead of time. They scheduled the work quickly after the contract was signed. The house is in an historic district; the job foreman was very sensitive to maintaining historically correct lines-- and was creative about finding old wood from elsewhere to replace rotting fascia. Work was completed in one day. Two caveats: shingles arrived unexpectedly the day before the job-- and workers were on the roof 45 minutes early. Roofing is messy work; they cleaned everything up beautifully. Everyone was very polite.
