When Hurricane Helene tore through Western North Carolina, it left behind far more than damaged roofs. Homes suffered damage to gutters, fascia, soffits, windows, siding, and other critical exterior components. For many homeowners, getting back to normal meant much more than putting a new roof overhead.

At Central Exteriors, we believed homeowners deserved someone who would look at the whole picture. While many companies came into the area focused on fast, high-dollar roofing projects, we took a different approach. We understood that rebuilding after Helene would require patience, craftsmanship, communication, and a willingness to handle the details—including the smaller repairs that can be the hardest for homeowners to find someone willing to take on.

We didn't just want to replace roofs. We wanted to help rebuild homes.

Rebuilding the Whole Exterior

Helene didn't damage homes in neat, convenient packages. A fallen tree or powerful wind could damage a roof, tear away gutters, break fascia and soffits, damage windows, and leave other parts of the home exposed. We didn't believe in fixing one piece and leaving homeowners to figure out the rest.

Central Exteriors approached storm restoration comprehensively—from the roof down to the gutters, fascia, soffits, windows, siding, and other exterior components that needed attention.

Our goal was simple:

Do the job properly. Restore the home completely. And don't leave the homeowner on their own when the project gets complicated.

That meant staying involved, communicating throughout the process, identifying what needed to be addressed, and helping homeowners navigate the many moving pieces that come with rebuilding after a major storm.

Because rebuilding isn't just about construction.

It's about helping people get their homes—and their lives—back.

We Didn't Just Show Up for the Big Jobs

After a disaster, homeowners can quickly become overwhelmed. There are insurance questions, temporary repairs, damaged materials, contractors, estimates, inspections, and countless details to manage. And sometimes there are smaller repairs that homeowners simply can't find anyone willing to handle.

We wanted to be different.

We didn't want to be the company that replaced the roof and said, "Good luck finding someone to fix everything else."

We wanted to be the company that stayed engaged.
